This listing is for one linen doll with removable linen dress, recycled wool hair sewn on with wool braids and removable flour sack cotton undies. The extra photos of undressed dolls are included to show the basic structure and shape of my rag dolls.

Having been professionally trained in Fashion Design using Haute Couture methods and years of experience in Art and Design since, all my handmade dolls are sewn with great care and skill.
Rag dolls come with a removable dress or outfit and all come with flour sack cotton undies. Their hair is permanently styled. The doll’s arms have been hand-sewn on with embroidery thread. All my dolls are made with muslin, linen or cotton with poly stuffing, felt, recycled fabrics or natural wool for hair, modern, found, recycled and vintage fabrics for clothing and embellished with hand embroidery. Raw edges and fraying fabrics, thread knots and visible stitching were all part of the plan and were left with artistic intent. Gentle cleaning/dusting is recommended only when needed and you are welcome to repair her/him/them if ever needed. Please do not put the doll in the washing machine. Spot cleaning with a gentle soap is recommended.
FAQ - Toy Rag Doll Vs. Art Doll?
Lots of people ask if my dolls can be played with.
My Art Dolls are not recommended for children because of possible hazards from ie. beaded necklaces and/or painted boots and although the acrylic paint has been treated with fabric medium, it may run if the doll gets wet and should also never go in children's mouths. Gentle cleaning/dusting is recommended and you are welcome to repair her/him if ever needed.
My Rag Dolls are for people of most ages! Doll Collectors of all ages and children alike! They are suitable for play, but not recommended for children under three years of age.
For centuries, rag dolls have been trusted confidants and fellow companions. If they rip or tear and you have to fix them up with a few stitches and patches here and there, well, that can become part of their charm. Remember the story of the Velveteen Rabbit! Please note that most of my dolls come with removable clothing, but if their clothes are directly sewn on to their bodies, it will be listed in the description above. I do sell extra clothing and accessories in my Pretty Little Things Collection from time to time, but making your own clothing for them, especially coats and hats and scarves to keep them warm in winter, is always appreciated, I'm sure! Gentle spot cleaning with a gentle detergent by hand only is recommended when needed and should not be cleaned in a washing machine or dryer.
