What does this one Canadian designer do when she feels angry about a situation? Well, create a subversive pattern of course! All 5 leaders of our country have stood up against the threats from the incoming US president, and yes even our conservative leader. This quote by our Prime Minister was just the most humourous and well, allowed me to use the well-loved Canadian spelling, H E Double Hockey Sticks.

Now I’m off to go look for my toque and get a double-double at Timmies.

Design Size: 102 X 117 Stitches - Do check the stitch counts and design sizes above the colour key.

I stitch most of my patterns 2 over 2 on 28 or 32 count Zweigart Even Weave.

Floss Colours: Please feel free to replace any colours you would like but do note the number of the Christmas Red Bright… I couldn’t resist!

Fabric: Make sure you have enough fabric to add a border all around the design. I’d suggest adding 5 cm – 7.5 cm (2-3 in) around each side for framing.

Colour: I suggest this design could be stitched on any colour.
