The Laurel Witch Cross Stitch Pattern PDF - Mrs P has had enough of your SH*T!

Well, the title to this pattern might say it all for some in the same position, but to explain it a little bit more, Mrs P is so tired of pretty much everything! Spurred on by the stress of the dinner party she is doing the final nitpicky preparations for this evening, she’s about to blow her (normally calm) stack! She’s had enough of people-pleasing, the need to look and act perfectly, she’s had enough of your armchair opinions on all things concerning anything involving politics, sports, religion, mean gossip and all things conspiracy! One wrong comment or snide tone at this evening’s festivities and she might lose it. In honour of her point of view, I finished her personally as a little doll that could be used as a soft weapon to bonk anyone on the head at the first sign of annoyance. I feel I must tap out a disclaimer of sorts - I’m not abdicating violence as a cross stitch designer, but all I can say is Beware of Mrs P’s wrath.

Yours truly in all things mystical and magical,
Laura Daub

Please note: This listing is for the PDF file only and does not include the materials for cross stitching or framing.

Design Size: 49 x 171 Stitches - Do check the stitch count and design size above the colour key. This pattern was designed for 14 count Aida, or it can be stitched 2 over 2 on 28 count Zweigart Even Weave or Linen. Sizes for 16 (32) count and 18 (36) count are also included.

Floss Colours: I think the black DMC 310 looks wonderful replaced by an overdyed black floss like Leo & Roxy Cotton Floss – Chalkboard (Canadian Company) or Weeks Dye Works – Onyx (USA Company) that I have used. Be sure to check lengths for other threads you are buying as they may not be the same as DMC. I always buy extra just in case!

Additional skin tones: This is only one example of optional skin tones. Please feel free to use your favourite colours. Replace DMC 225 for DMC 840 (Beige Brown Medium) and replace DMC 152 for DMC 838 (Beige Brown Very Dark).

Fabric: Make sure you have enough fabric to add a border all around the design. I’d suggest adding 5 cm – 7.5 cm (2-3 in) around each side if you want to frame it. You can also sew her into a little doll/poppet or pillow (aka weapon) if you’d like as I have.
