I designed this pattern based on a painting of mine from 2019, Three Mystics that lives in my studio above my desk. I reworked some of the patterns in the middle woman’s coat for this pattern, with the different types of seed pods, flower bulbs and dissections of florals to represent growth in life. The other symbols like the stars, the magic eye, and the moths signify the subtle beauty in the magic we can find in everyday life if we are open to it, in the simplest of forms, both here on earth, within ourselves and in the universe. This was the first painting I painted that depicts a woman as a witch, which has now led me onto a path of designing so many new witch themed artworks and patterns under the name The Laurel Witch, so I am grateful to these imaginary mystical women for opening this door for me and showing me the way from above… quite literally!

Downloading and Printing Instructions:

Your file will be available to you after your payment is confirmed. 
You will automatically be emailed a download link for you to download and save the file to your computer. I'd suggest the easiest way to download it is on your computer, not a phone, as you are limited in the number of times you can download the file. 

Once you save the file to your computer (check your download folder if you can't find it), you can either print it out at home, print one or two pages instead of the whole pdf if you'd like, or send the whole file to your local business office supplier printer.

Design Size:

171 x 207 Stitches

The pattern includes finished sizing for stitching on 14, 16 or 18 count fabrics.

Fabric:

Make sure to have enough fabric. Please note the stitch count options above the key and calculate your finished fabric size before you start stitching. Do make sure you have enough fabric to add a border all around the design. I’d suggest adding 5 cm – 7.5 cm (2 - 3 in) around each edge.

Colour: I suggest this design could be stitched on any colour. I am stitching mine on 32 count Zweigart Lugana Evenweave in Taupe, stitching 2 over 2.
