The Laurel Witch Cross Stitch Pattern PDF - Xiola and Edward Jinx

Meet my ancestors, Xiola and Edward Jinx, great-great-great (?) grandparents on my father’s side, famously known as the Gypsy Mystics, revered by many, and condemned by more.

When Edward suddenly died at the young age of 111, and quite mysteriously I should add, enchantress Xiola forged on to create a booming business in The World’s Best Divination Tools. Most famously, she is known for The Magic Eye, a See-All Fortunetelling Tool, that left many a prime minister, monarch, and socialite spellbound and weak in the knees because of the reported 96% accuracy of futures, both good and bad.  It was said though that it was the remaining 4% that kept her patrons coming back and often with friends, virtually ceasing the need for any advertising. They were beguiled with either a giddy excitement and hope, or, on the flip side, endless worry causing many sleepless nights which often resulted in poor decision making, therefore rendering her predictions to become true.

Xiola and Edward’s offspring each have special powers of their own as the family tree continues to grow, with each descendant spreading magic throughout the world and still causing people to question their reality to this day.

Sidenote: there have been rumours that a well-known True Crime podcast is digging into Edward’s mysterious death. There are some who believe there is proof that Xiola had might have had something to do with his untimely ending. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what becomes of this.

Downloading and Printing Instructions:

Your file will be available to you after your payment is confirmed.
You will automatically be emailed a download link for you to download and save the file to your computer. I'd suggest the easiest way to download it is on your computer, not a phone, as you are limited in the number of times you can download the file.

Once you save the file to your computer (check your download folder if you can't find it), you can either print it out at home, print one or two pages instead of the whole pdf if you'd like, or send the whole file to your local business office supplier printer.

Design Size:

Xiola
- 16 stitch/in - 48 x 72 Stitches
7.6 cm x 11.4 cm (3.0 x 4.5 in.)

Edward - 16 stitch/in - 48 x 72 Stitches
7.6 cm x 11.4 cm (3.0 x 4.5 in.)

Fabric: Make sure you have enough fabric to add a border all around each of the designs, especially if you plan on framing them separately. I’d suggest adding 5 cm – 7.5 cm (2-3 in) around each side. If you are stitching these patterns on a different size than a 16 count fabric (or a 32 count fabric, stitching 2 over 2), please note the stitch count and calculate your finished design sizes before you start stitching.

Colour: I suggest these designs could be stitched on any colour.
