This Heart and Crown brooch cross stitch pattern was part of a pattern that was originally published in the Fangirl Fibers Haunted America Box 2022 called The Woman in White A Ghostly Love Story from Heart Island. The Cross Stitch Brooch was inspired by a stained glass pattern in the dome at Boldt Castle!

For more info on the renovation of the dome, here's a post from Brennan Stained Glass Studio: https://boldtcastle.wordpress.com/stories/glass-dome/

This pattern is available on Patreon in my Patron's monthly membership, so please do consider becoming a Laurel Witch Patron to check out all my posts... even if just for the month! https://www.patreon.com/TheLaurelWitch

Downloading and Printing Instructions:

Your file will be available to you after your payment is confirmed.
You will automatically be emailed a download link for you to download and save the file to your computer. I'd suggest the easiest way to download it is on your computer, not a phone, as you are limited in the number of times you can download the file.

Once you save the file to your computer (check your download folder if you can't find it), you can either print it out at home, print one or two pages instead of the whole pdf if you'd like, or send the whole file to your local business office supplier printer.

Design Size and Thread Colours:

The pattern includes finished sizing for stitching on 14, 16 or 18 count fabrics. Please refer to the key image in this listing for sizing options.

Backstitches: For the lettering and backstitches, I suggest using one strand of floss.

Fabric: Make sure to have enough fabric. Please note the stitch count options above the key and calculate your finished fabric size before you start stitching. Do make sure you have enough fabric to add a border all around the design. I’d suggest adding 5 cm – 7.5 cm (2 - 3 in) around each edge.

Fabric Colour: I suggest this design could be stitched on any colour that will show the white stitching well. I normally stitch my models on 32 count Zweigart Lugana Evenweave or 32 count Linen, stitching 2 over 2.
