The Laurel Witch Cross Stitch Pattern PDF - Little Witches - Witch of the South
I have always, always loved tiny little things. This Little Witch may look tiny, but her fine detailed pattern was designed to keep cross stitchers of all levels engaged and on their toes, with the ultimate feeling of satisfaction (and hopefully a little giggly) once she's completed!
Please note: This listing is for the PDF file only and does not include the materials for cross stitching.
The Witch of the South lives in Southern Ontario, Canada where The Laurel Witch is from! She holds deep the Indigenous land where she was just lucky enough to born and honours and protects the name Ontarí’io which means Beautiful Lake or Lake of Shining Waters. The moody waters and the aquatic life within, provide safe passage to travelers who mean well. The nighttime sky that touches the magical shoreline shows it's support from the Hamilton Harbour and it's industrial importance, to the twinkling Toronto skyline with it's imposing CN Tower that keeps watch and provides a directional compass to all Witch Sisters and the inhabitants of this beautiful land we call Canada, from the South, to the North, to the East and West. With her, the Witch Sister circle is complete.

Downloading and Printing Instructions:
Your file will be available to you after your payment is confirmed.
You will automatically be emailed a download link for you to download and save the file to your computer. I'd suggest the easiest way to download it is on your computer, not a phone, as you are limited in the number of times you can download the file.
Once you save the file to your computer (check your download folder if you can't find it), you can either print it out at home, print one or two pages instead of the whole pdf if you'd like, or send the whole file to your local business office supplier printer.
Design Size:
41 x 79 Stitches ***Do check the stitch counts and design size options above the Colour Key.
I stitch most of my patterns 2 over 2 (2 strands of floss) on 28 or 32 count Zweigart Even Weave.
For backstitches I usually stitch with one thread.
Floss:
I think the black DMC 310 would look wonderful if replaced by a variegated black floss or an overdyed black floss like the Leo & Roxy Cotton Floss – Chalkboard. You may need more skeins if you are using a different floss than DMC.
I have only provided one skin tone, so please do feel free to use any colours you prefer.
Fabric:
Make sure you have enough fabric to add a border all around the design. I’d suggest adding 5 cm – 7.5 cm (2-3 in) around each side for framing. These Little Witches can also be finished into little dolls or pillows.
